Jokioinen manor's history begins in 1562, when the Swedish King Erik XIV donated River State Provincial military commander Klaus Kristerinpoika Horn. The donation was a bonus that Horn was the result of battles and negotiations, managed to take over Sweden in Tallinn and Estonia in the country.
