Title
A bronze shoe as symbol for pilgrimage in Spain #7672520
Description
Cape Finisterre or Fisterre is a rock-bound peninsula on the west coast of Galicia in Spain and the final destination for many pilgrims on the Way of St. James, the pilgrimage to the shrine of the apostle Saint James the Great in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. For pilgrims it is Land's End and it is a recent tradition to burn their clothes or boots at the end of their journey at this place.
