Description
The reenactment of the battle of the Mongol-Tatar yoke, dedicated 536-th anniversary of the Great standing on the Ugra in the Kaluga region of Russia on 10 September 2016. The event was organized by the joint forces of historical clubs Battalion and Russian Fortress. Throughout the site there are three main locations: camp Moscow Rus, the camp of the Tatars and entertainment area for visitors. The first locations are the Russian and Tatar military camp as close to the time of hostilities 1480. There are specialized interactive areas for visitors, where you can get acquainted with the everyday life of soldiers, their uniforms, weapons. Standing on the Ugra river ââ¬â the war in 1480 between the Khan of the Great Horde Akhmat, and Grand Duke of Moscow Ivan III, caused by Moscow's refusal to pay the annual tribute to the Horde, put an end to the Mongol-Tatar yoke.
