Description
The Historic Old Post Office building; located at 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue. The structure was completed in 1899. It was used as the city's main post office until 1914 and became an office building afterward. Nearly torn down in the 20s an 70s to make way for the Federal Triangle complex. Major renovations occurred in 1976 an 1983. The 1983 renovation added a food court and retail space and the building was renamed the Old Post Pavilion. Even though now in 2016 it's call (The Trump International Hotel) the locals still calls it OPP.
