Description
Most of the historical monuments are concentrated in the Old Town of Budva. Located at significantly sharply jutting into the sea the peninsula, it is a corner of a typical Venetian and Mediterranean architecture. Despite the devastating consequences of the earthquake of 1979, by 1987 the Old Town was completely rebuilt. The old town surrounds the thick walls and penetrate the narrow winding streets that lead to the city's citadel, which now is a museum. Near the citadel there are three ancient churches
