This is a Fall picture of the Southside of the Baha'i House of Worship located in Wilmette, Illinois. The Temple was designed by J. Bourgeois and the project was completed by George A. Fuller, construction began in 1922 and was dedicated on May 2, 1953. The Temple is the oldest Baha'i Temple in the World and the only one in the United States. This view features a reflecting pool and the grand staircase. The Temple was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 23, 1978. This picture was taken on November 3, .
