Astronomical Clock, Prague Stock Photography

Astronomical Clock Orloj; 1410, mounted on the southern wall of the Town Hall, Old Town Square of Prague. The clock mechanism consists of three main components: the astronomical dial representing the position of the Sun and Moon, the `Walk of the Apostles`, an hourly show of figures of the Apostles and a figure of Death represented by a skeleton and a calendar dial with medallions representing the months.
