Bangladesh, capital, city of Dhaka: leather processing is a major source of income, and employment for the people who live in the slum, Islambat, part of the district Lalbag in Dhaka. A man, Bangladeshi laborer, puts the processed leather on the to dry and store the pieces of leather with nails stuck in the grass so that they do not blow away by the wind. This man, Bengal, must live and work in this inhuman place. Under the there is his warehouse, workshop and house, housing. A hut made of straw. Poverty, poor living conditions. Wretched of the Earth. The tannery industry in the background pollutes the environment in the area tremendously. The leather industry creates a huge environmental pollution and soil pollution, soil contamination. The water is totally poisoned.
