The `Three Gorges` Memory Wall Displayed by the Three Gorges Historical Hall in Chongqing Three Gorges Museum #82807289
Description

It is made up of two statues of rock, about 5 meters long and about 7 meters long, with a total weight of more than 30 tons. It is the most important cultural relic of the Three Gorges Museum. Rocks erected against the wall, the rows of rows of shrines on the rocks neatly lined up, inside the niches are a variety of different shapes of the Buddha, next to a similar shape of the rock. The sculpture was originally located on the left bank of Longtan River in Zhongxian County. It is a well preserved stone carving statue of the Three Gorges area with earlier and high value. There are 46 shrines carved in it, and the statues are lifelike. Statues prove that, at least in the Southern Tang Dynasty, Buddhism has been introduced into the Xiajiang area.
