Munich, Germany, Summer 2016, Regular rafting trips take place in the summer months on the Isar Canal.Usually, there is plenty of beer on board as well as musical entertainment.The route takes the raft from Wolfratshausen to the `Flossgelände`in Hinterbrühl.What is shown in this image is no doubt the highlight of the trip when the raft descends the small waterfall.This is usually accompanied by screams of joy as the raft traverses the descent.During the trip, there are no guarantees one will remain dry. Indeed, it has been known that the odd passenger has ended up in the drink, very often caused by the overindulgence of the alcohol on board.The raft is captained by a very experienced person, these captains learn their trade from their elders, this being handed down for generations. Even so, safety on the raft has top priority!
