Netherlands, province South Holland, city Leiden, the morsch city gate or Morspoort gate in the center of the town. The stone, bricks, gate built in the seventeenth, 17th, century, in mannerist, dutch-classicist, architectural style. Build according to a draft of the Leiden master builder, architect, Willem van der Helm. The gate with octagonal dome was a long time a prison. The gate is a landmark, cultural heritage site, national monument and tourist attraction.
