This beautiful iris is in full bloom and returns year after year. They are very hearty and planted as bulbs. They germinate and come back thicker the next year. They are dormant during the winter and undisturbed by the ice, snow and freezing temperatures. They start pushing through the ground in January and are in full bloom by April and May. They need sunlight, however, the hot summertime temperatures are too much and they wilt and go away until next year. They come in hundreds of colors.
