Women`s March From Inside The National Gallery Of Art East Building, Washington, DC, USA #84704851
Description
Women`s March on Washington, January 21, 2017: A record number of demonstrators descended on the nation`s capital to rally against the recently-inaugurated President of the United States, Donald Trump. This worldwide, grassroots movement was a series of political rallies organized for women`s rights as well as a myriad of other causes threatened by President Donald Trump`s rhetoric. It is about 11:45AM and, although the rally is well underway, many demonstrators have retreated inside the National Gallery of Art East Building to take a reprieve from the overwhelming crowds, escape the cold, and use the bathroom. However, inside of the museum the crowds are still impressive. Also visible in this photo, suspended above visitors, is Alexander Calder`s 76-foot-long mobile, `Untitled,` 1976.
