An antique marble statue in the Vatican Museum of Ganymede with Zeus in the form of an eagle. Ganymede was the son of a king of Troy. Because of Ganymede`s great beauty, Zeus disguised himself as an eagle and carried Ganymede off to Mount Olympus to serve as the cupbearer for the gods.
