The Water Garden at the Castle of Hellbrunn in Salzburg in Austria with its many `trick` fountains #87323252
Description
Hellbrunn is situated at Salzburg`s southern city limits. The palace was built by the Italian Santino Solari between 1613 and 1619 under the orders of his reigning arcbishop, Markus Sittikus. The Water Garden at the Palace of Hellbrunn has many `trick` fountains that wet everyone who enters the gardens. The table and stools is particularly tricky. The Prince Bishop would seat guests at his table and during the meal he could turn on the water which gushed through the seats of the guests. They were not allowed to stand in his presence and so had to endure sitting with wet clothes whilst he laughed his head off
