Blackbird #87668709
Description
The blackbird (Latin: Turdus merula) is a passerine that is widespread over much of Europe and parts of Asia, Australia and New Zealand. It is Denmark's commonest bird, and it breeds like in inhabited areas. The blackbird is known for its melodic song, mainly heard mornings and evenings. Most Danish birds are resident, but some females and young birds prefer, however, to the southwest in the winter.
