The Iris ranks among the most popular of all garden flowers. They are planted in the fall as bulbs. There are a rainbow of different colors available. They bloom in late spring to early summer. They are a perennial and drought tolerant. The Iris will add beauty to any garden or yard. They need partial shade but at least a half day sunlight. Without sun, they will not bloom.
