Coal Vines is a fantastic restaurant/wine bar in the heart of Uptown. With its coal-burning oven, this is probably the closest you will come to authentic New York pizza. The menu includes such delectable items as Pizzas, Spiced Salmon Salad, Salad Pies, which are served cold and by the slice, Eggplant Milanese Sandwich, Veal & Pepper Rolls, and amazing deserts like Tiramisu Float. Wine is available by the glass or bottle. The décor is upscale and it`s easy to forget that everything on the menu is cheap.
