Snail is a common name given to the class members gastropod molluscs. In a narrow sense, the term given to those who have coiled shells in the adult stage. In a broad sense, which is also the meaning of `gastropod` includes snails and slugs naked snails without shells, in the Java language known as resrespo. Gastropod class ranks second largest in terms of number of species members after Insecta insects. Habitat, shape, behavior, and anatomy of the snail also vary greatly among members.
