Actor, producer, and director Burt Reynolds arrives on the red carpet for the premiere of `Dog Years` (later changed to "The Last Movie Star") at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival, at the Cinepolis Chelsea on April 22, 2017 in New York City. For the now aged and fragile Reynolds, the film was a `life imitates art` experience. He plays the lead role, that of `Vic Edwards. The former box office and action star was known for such films as "Deliverance," "Smokey and the Bandit," "The Longest Yard," "Semi-Tough," "Starting Over," "Cannonball Run," "The Dukes of Hazard," and "Boogie Nights." Reynolds, a Primetime Emmy and Golden Globes winner and Oscar nominee, died from a heart attack in Jupiter, Florida, on Sept. 6, 2018 at 82.
