Hundreds of Pukung Pukung residents, Pudakpayung Sub-district, Banyumanik Sub-district held a clean tradition on Friday May 12, 2017. With `armed` bucket, they cleaned Sendang Gede, as well as hunting catfish that have been stocked in that location.nnSadranan Sendang Gede tradition is held every month Ruwah Javanese calendar to welcome the coming of Ramadan. At the ritual, the residents together to clean the water that is used during the dry season.nnThe event begins with slaughtering dozens of roosters brought voluntarily by the residents. After that, they start to clean up by draining the water spray by using a bucket or bucket. In addition to cleaning the sendang, residents also look for catfish that previously stocked.nnFor the residents of this event aims to cleanse themselves to be clean of everything and water is the source of human life and other living things.nÃÂ ÃÂ This clean event was followed by a procession of nyadran with a meal together that was lined with banana leaf sheets meaningful keguyuban and harmony between residents are always awake.
