Deforestation is the phenomenon of regression of forest areas. It is the result of deforestation and clearing operations, linked to the extension of agricultural land, the exploitation of mineral resources in the subsoil, urbanization and even the excessive or anarchic exploitation of certain tree species. It is important, however, to define what deforestation is. Deforestation is an action of an anthropic or natural nature that causes the permanent disappearance of a forest.
