Seven Buddhas In The Forest, Induwaru, Sri Lanka Royalty-Free Stock Image

These seven walking Buddhas are in the forest on a hill above the village of Induwaru, Sri Lanka, south of Bentota. The story is that these Buddhas saw a man, holding a bow and arrow, about to kill a deer. The first Buddha asked the man to stop, and he did. The statue of the deer can be seen in the bottom left of the photograph. Further up on the path is a unique Buddhist temple in which the Buddha is illuminated in front of numerous praying monks.
