Annually in mid-July, on the historic fields of Grunwald, a reconstruction of one of the greatest Middle Ages battles - the Battle of Grunwald - takes place. The battle took place on July 15, 1410, between knights of the Order of the Teutonic Knights and knights from Poland and Lithuania. More than 5000 knights, squires and ladies, and over 80000 spectators are visiting Grunwald. During the event, there are numerous tournaments, fairs, competitions and, finally, a spectacular battle.
