This scene is from the ghats of river brahmapautra. Looking far away, lied a bridge called the saraighat bridge. Right where, I am standing lies a statue of Lachit Barphukan, a freddom fighter from assam, who had successfully thwarted the mughals from entering the domain of Assam. The story is another long tale. I wonder what would he feel standing right there, looking at the bridge now? If he were alive. The bridge which has been the ultimate saviour, to this day Guwahati.
