In the Novodevichy convent, near the Smolensk Cathedral there is a small chapel, owned by Prokhorovs family. Before the revolution of 1917 in Russia, Prokhorovs were the owners of the Moscow famous textile manufactory `Trekhgornaya`. The chapel was built in 1911-1914 years. The chapel attracts the attention with the beauty and elegance of its forms, as an example of a Mature neo-Russian style, based on the traditions of ancient temple architecture.
