Description
Moscow Triumphal gate is a triumphal arch in Moscow. First built in 1829-1834 years by the architect O. I. Bove on the square of Tverskaya Zastava in honor of the victory of the Russian people in the Patriotic war of 1812. Dismantled in 1936. The current arch was built to Bove& x27;s original designs in 1966ââ¬â68 in the middle of Kutuzovsky Avenue, close to the Victory Park. An open space surrounding the arch is known as the Victory Square. Nearest metro station is & x22;Park Pobedy& x22;. The triumphal arch is classified as cultural heritage objects of regional importance.
