Saint Benedict Church is located in the town of Ribeira Brava, in southern part of Madeira, an island located on the Atlantic Ocean, belonging to Portugal. This church is dated from the XVI century, this is one of the oldest rural churches of the Diocese of Funchal and one of the most visited on the island, classified as a Public Interest.
