Albino Queensland Lungfish swimming away #95400748
Description
Queensland lungfish, Neoceratodus forsteri, endemic to Australia, is a surviving member of the family Neoceratodontidae & order Ceratodontiformes. Fossil records date back 380 million years around the time when the higher vertebrate animals were starting to evolve. Amazingly, it can live out of water for several days if the surface of its skin is constantly moist.
