Church of Sant`Antonio built in a trullo in Alberobello #97010877
Description
The church of Sant`Antonio is a sober trully worship building, and is particularly noted for the singular typology that leads to the traditional forms of building. Raised in a few months and open to the public in June 1927, it represented the extreme appendix of the Monti Rione and emerged as a symbol of the struggle against other religions, at least according to the tradition reported in the work of the commissioner, Don Antonio Lippolis.
