The kotwica symbol on a concrete wall. It was the World War II emblem of the Polish Underground State and Armia Krajowa, used in the Polish struggle to regain independence. It consists of the letters P and W. It also stands for the memory of the Warsaw Uprising which started August 1st 1944.
