Description
Uspensky Admiralty church XVII century is the oldest surviving church in Voronezh. The full name of the church is the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Ever-Virgin Mary. The five-headed chetverik with the low three-lobed apse 13.1 m high belongs to the pre-Petrine time. The rectangular refectory and a three-tiered bell tower 21.4 m high are made in the classicism style.
