Description
Dmitry Donskoy was the Moscow prince who headed the united russian army in victorious Kulikovo battle against Mongol-Tatar troops 1380. The chapel of Dmitry Donskoy erected in 2004 on the renewable monastery necropolis, on the approximate place, where heroes of the Kulikovo battle were buried. The monastery necropolis was formed as a result that burials inside of the monastery and outside the Eastern wall were carried out almost from the foundation of the monastery until the beginning of the 20th century.
