Description
This is a Summer picture of an independent gas station on Route 66 in Normal, Illinois in McLean County. This two story building is example of Tudor Revival architecture, it was constructed by William Sprague, it is the largest of the three surviving two-story fuel station building on U.S. 66, it was built in 1931. This structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places on April 4, 2008. This picture was taken on September 7, 2017.
