El Bosc de les Creus. The Forest of the Crosses is a land-art project by fireman and artist Marc Sellarés, after his village forest burned by wildfire on July 2015. It is located near the town of Òdena, next to the natural parc of Montserrat. According the artist, this work is a mourning ritual expressing personal feelings. It aims to be a tool for denunciation and awareness towards forest management and climate change. The eerie landscape aims to embody the desolation transmitted by fire-ravaged land, and has become a municipal symbol as well as a tourist attraction.
