Description
Weizhou Island is an island in the southern Beibu Gulf of Beihai, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is the largest and the youngest volcanic island in China. Weizhou Island is an island formed by volcanic eruption, and has marine erosion, marine deposits and lava. The island is located in the north of Beihai, Guangxi, east of Leizhou Peninsula, Southeast and sunset Island, south facing Hainan Island across the sea, and west facing Vietnam. The island has dense vegetation and beautiful scenery, especially the peculiar sea and sea landforms, volcanic lava and colorful living coral, known as the & x22;Penglai island& x22; of the South China Sea.
