The Room of the Satyrs in the Casina delle Civette, exceptional example of Roman Liberty style today Museum of Villa Torlonia, Rome, Italy. This tiny and extremely richly decorated room follows the octagonal dome of the building. The room is named after the small satyrs which decorate the round window in the ceiling.The three circular windows in the walls are decorated with stained glass designed byDuilio Cambellotti. They depict ivy leaves and bunches of grapes. The house of the owls, which was the residence of Prince Giovanni Torlania the younger until his death in 1938, is today part of the Museum complex of Villa Torlonia and has been designated as the Museum of Liberty Glass.
