Birds by Duilio Cambellotti in the Staircase of the Four Seasons in the Casina delle Civette, exceptional example of Roman Liberty style today Museum of Villa Torlonia, Rome, Italy. The staircase, runs against the building and leads outside. It is decorated with stained glass depicting the seasons long the walls. The glass panels in the ceiling designed by Duilio Cambellotti and depict birds: “Swallows”, “Skylarks”, “Thrushes” and “Migrating Birds”. Only “Migrating Birds” is an original piece. The other three were created in 1997 by the Giuliani Glass Works, following the sketches on display in the Prince’s bedroom. The house of the owls, which was the residence of Prince Giovanni Torlania the younger until his death in 1938, is today part of the Museum complex of Villa Torlonia and has been designated as the Museum of Liberty Glass.
