Description
The room of the nail in the Casina delle Civette, exceptional example of Roman Liberty style today Museum of Villa Torlonia, Rome, Italy. This room takes its name from the large piece of stained glass ââ¬ÅThe nailââ¬Â , made by Duilio Cambellotti in 1914 /1915 and decorated with vine leaves and bunches of grapes. The motif is repeated in the ceiling. The room was used as a studio by the Prince, but its furniture has been lost. The walls display preparatory drawings and cartoons for the window of the room and other sketches by Duilio Cambellotti.
