“The Idol” by Vittorio Grassi in the Prince’s Bedroom of the Casina delle Civette, exceptional example of Roman Liberty style today Museum of Villa Torlonia, Rome, Italy. The splendid and original glass work was created by the artist in 1918 and acquired by the Municipality of Rome in 2002. The house of the owls, which was the residence of Prince Giovanni Torlania the younger until his death in 1938, is today part of the Museum complex of Villa Torlonia and has been designated as the Museum of Liberty Glass.
