Description
The Princeââ¬â¢s Bathroom in the Casina delle Civette, exceptional example of Roman Liberty style today Museum of Villa Torlonia, Rome, Italy. Before starting the renovation works the original sanitary facilities were still present. However the beautiful majolicas, produced by Villeroy and Boch, which once covered the walls decorated with nymphs, had almost completely disappeared. The only that survived are displayed in the room. The two sideboards by the artist Duilio Cambellotti were bought from his heirs. The house of the owls, which was the residence of Prince Giovanni Torlania the younger until his death in 1938, is today part of the Museum complex of Villa Torlonia and has been designated as the Museum of Liberty Glass.
