The House of the Princes today Museum of Villa Torlonia in Rome, Italy. The external architecture of the House displays various original decorative elements like two fine doorways and a couple of Sphinxes. Built in pseudo sixteenth century style and richly decorated the Casino of the Princes was designed by Giovan Battista Caretti, between 1835 and 1840, following the desire of Prince Alessandro Torlonia 1800-1886.Today the building is part of the museum complex and public park. The small and elegant House was used by Prince Alessandro Torlonia, during the sumptuous society events held in the Villa. Actually the museum is in use for temporary exhibitions.
