This is really an amazing natural area in the metropolis.The first mention of the pond in official documents dates back to 1600 ââ¬â it was formed at this time by decree of Boris Fedorovich Godunov as a result of the construction of the Tsareborisovskaya Godunovskaya dam. In the scribal books of 1627-1628, the reservoir is marked as `sovereign`, with a stone dam and a mill. In the XVII-XIX centuries on the left side of the Borisovsky pond was a protected forest tract of Infection.
