`Hungarian Versailles` - this is what is often called a luxurious, magnificent and large-scale palace and park ensemble, which is located in the town of Fertöd in the west of Hungary, which is two and a half hours from Budapest. Now the palace had 126 rooms, each of which has its own original design and does not repeat one another. In the luxurious interiors of the palace rooms, made in the rococo style, there was a magnificent collection of furniture, paintings, clocks, Venetian mirrors, tapestries.Esterhazy Palace was built in several stages by representatives of one of the richest and most noble families of Hungary - Esterhazy. In July 1720, Prince Jozsef Esterhazy made an order for the construction of a hunting lodge from the famous architect Anton Erhardt Martinelli. Construction work proceeded very quickly, and already three months later, a beautiful hunting residence of Prince Esterhazy with 20 rooms was erected, which became the basis for the construction of a huge palace in the future.
