Leidesdorff warehouse location San Francisco 1 #253633630
Description
In the early years of San Francisco, the shoreline extended much further out. In the mid 1840`s William Leidesdorff had a single story warehouse on what was then the Yerba Buena Cove, where special, shallow draft boats could load and unload local cow hides. By the 1850`s they started filling in the bay for much needed new spaces. Today, this building is an office building in the financial district. As seen 27 July 2022.
