Description
Pictured is one of eight panels on the vaulted ceiling of the main chamber of TT1, the Tomb of Sennedjem in Deir el-Medina. The deceased Sennedjem has regenerated and is being carried on the back of a small white calf with black markings. Ra-Horakhty-Atum is wearing a red disk surrounded by a uraeus snake. Sennedjem was an Ancient Egyptian artisan who had the title `Servant in the Place of Truth`. He was buried in this tomb along with his wife, Iyneferti, and his family.
