Description
Frank Pixley was a native of New York where he was a lawyer, coming to San Francisco, like many others, in search of gold. Quickly finding being a lawyer was both easier and more comfortable, as well as more profitable, he returned to law, and was elected California Attorney General in 1861.He built his mansion on what today are the blocks bounding Union; Steiner; Green and Fillmore Streets, surrounded by what today we would call Privacy Trees.As seen 16 November 2022.
