Pictured is half of a monumental three story mural by artist Haylee Ryan Yale on a medical office building at Valoris Health Park in Garland, Texas. The work incorporates nurses and veterans from nostalgic photos. The native landscapes include the purple coneflower which is associated with healing, the trumpet vine representing a fresh start, and a fall aster representing wisdom. A hummingbird is included as a sign of joy, healing and good luck. The ribbon cutting ceremony for the mural was March 8th, 2023. It took Haylee 2.5 months to complete the project at 601 Clara Barton near the VA Medical Center. Her instagram is @hayleeryan.
