Two sides of an Italian 1000 Lire money note printed in 1982. The lira (plural lire) was the currency of Italy between 1861 and 2002, and was replaced by the current currency - the Euro. On the note's front side (top) is the portrait of Marco Polo. On the note's back side (bottom) is the Doge's Palace in Venice. Isolated on white background.
