Interior of a ruined kasba (or qasba, fortified settlement) built of pressed earth (called adobe or, in Morocco tapia) outside the Moroccan town of Imouzzer Kandar in the province of Sefrou. The walls are made of pressed earth, with the square holes of the timber tie points used in construction. The modern town of Immouzer was built in the early years of the French Protectorate as a resort and agricultural centre
